We build colorful cages for ourselves fashioned out of self-imposed limitations imprinted during past painful experiences. We can live our entire lives in these cages with our sense of freedom dead to these fears. Find your wings and soar. You must lean into yourself as a creator. You are the architect of your reality. You must learn the tools and the laws. You must apply them in practice to the canvas of your life if you are ever to emerge from the box you have imprisoned yourself in. You can do it. I believe in you. Become the superhero you always needed. You’ve got this.

Think Zen culture. Simple, purposeful. Speak intentionally. Live Intentionally. Drop excess bullshit.

Believe in yourself like your life depends on it. Because it absolutely does. This is your life. Do it big. Accept nothing less than total certainty that you will achieve utter and absolute greatness. If you don’t open yourself to the possibility, you never will. Free yourself from the games of blame and complain. You will never win that way. You’ll only sink in a pool of false hope. Become that comet that others wish upon to find their own strength. You are more than the stories you tell yourself to feel comfortable with the state of your life. You must be willingly curious, again and again, to surrender what you think you know and who you think you are at the doorstep of the unknown, to open yourself to the mystery.

If it takes a million single steps to climb a mountain. Your dojo is the step. Not the mountain. Inertia paralyzes you before the immensity of your dream. “Am I worthy of that life?” “Maybe I’ll never get there.” Here you have 2 options: submit to the mountain, or summit with the step. This moment before you is your step. Bring everything to this moment. Your revolution is in one squat. One shoulder rub. One journal entry. One tear. One pause. One breath. Trust your heart’s intention of that summit to hold your hand. The flood of your potential is made of a trillion drops. Be today’s drop. That’s enough.

You must offer the burning heart of courage to your becoming. You must pour yourself totally into your path and trust it no matter where it takes you. The passionate love of your unshakeable devotion to your path is the very fuel that will thrust you to the heights of your greatest potential. 100% yes or 100% no. No wishy-washiness.

Let’s not get too serious about what all of this is or where it’s supposed to take you. Who are you at your most human? How can you fall in love with you at your most human? The gateway to your supernatural divinity lies in your utter humanness. That’s ultimately what this is all about.
